I provide individual therapy for children aged 5 years and older, adolescents, and adults through middle age. Clients often begin treatment with me when their anxiety or mood have recently worsened. Their anger might get the best of them, or they're having a difficult time maintaining healthy relationships.
My specialties include working with children and adults healing from childhood abuse or trauma, and treating neurodiverse people, including child and adult ADHD. I also help people with many other concerns like anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship, school, and job troubles.
I joyfully provide mental healthcare to people of all genders and sexualities, including affirming care for LGBTQ people, and I coordinate my services with affirming medical providers in the community. I'm Health at Every Size (HAES)-oriented and have a background in Intuitive Eating.
My therapy approach is warm and collaborative. I combine research-supported individual interventions (e.g., cognitive behavior therapy, trauma therapy) along with a focus on aspects of a person's experience such as family, race, gender, body/weight, and other parts of identity, as well as integrating questions that most of us have, like how to be happy and what it means to live a good life.
